The beauty of Pythagoras' Theorem is its simplicity. But even so, there are many applications of this theorem, which seems to have been known by ancient Babylonians. Pythagoras' Theorem states that the sum of squares on two smaller sides of the right angled triangle are equal to the square on hypotenuse:
